Enjoying magnificent panoramic views of Whitelee Fell from a hillside position, relax amid picturesque and dramatic scenery in this gloriously unspoilt part of Northumberland. Whitelee Fell has been designated a National Nature Reserve. Lying within The Northumberland National Park, on the owner's working farm, the cottages are former shepherds cottages, renovated to a very good standard, and all have four poster double beds. There are wildlife cameras which feed live pictures direct to the TV in each cottage, and you can watch barn owls and badgers. Birch and Oak have retained lots of character with beams and inglenook fireplaces for a warm and cosy atmosphere. Each has a garden and ample parking. Whitelee Farm is an idyllic base to explore the Scottish borders, Kielder Forest Park, Alnwick Castle, Northumberland with its magnificent coastline, selection of castles and NT properties. Edinburgh is within an easy drive. Walking and cycling are amongst some of the activities locally. Shop 5 minutes.NB: Rowan, Birch and Oak Cottages are in close proximity to each other and can be booked together to accommodate up to 13 people.
