Use of swimming pool Superb leisure facilities
This log cabin lies in Kenwick Woods, at the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds, near the Georgian market town of Louth. The woods are part of the grounds of Kenwick Park Hotel, home to a Leisure Club and a golf club, which offers extensive leisure facilities from a magnificent heated indoor swimming pool, a sauna and jacuzzi, to a gymnasium, tennis courts and creche for the under 5s. There is also a beauty salon. The cabin itself is situated down a tarmac road, about half a mile from the hotel/leisure club. Close to the Twelfth Fairway, guests wishing to use the private course can do so upon payment of a green fee, which includes use of the clubhouse facilities. Those who can tear themselves away will find the surrounding 'Tennyson country' a rewarding experience. The coast, with its many sandy beaches and lovely nature reserves, is also accessible. Follow the WW2 Bomber Trail or visit the Memorial Flight Museum at Conningsby, within a short drive. Visit Horncastle or the cathedral city of Lincoln. There is excellent fishing locally, with 15 ponds within a 5 mile radius of Louth. Ideal area for mountain biking. There is a bar and restaurant on site, shop 2 miles.
