This large Grade II listed farmhouse is tucked away at the end of a long track and has extensive views over the surrounding open countryside. Set in its own grounds with room for ball games, barbecues and relaxing, this friendly house provides spacious accommodation for up to 19 guests and has many character features including woodburners and two staircases. The big kitchen serves as a hub of activities and is well equipped to cater for large parties, the dining room table is large enough for everyone to enjoy a celebratory feast. The living room has a feature fireplace and a large flat screen TV. A second living room with a large flat screen TV doubles as the games room. The house is well placed for easy access to the rugged north coast and beaches around Bude and many other attractions are all within easy reach. For walkers, the moors and coastal path are a short drive. Golf, horse riding and historic Launceston with its Norman castle and steam railway are all within 5 miles. Shop 5 miles, pub 3 miles

Absolutely ideal for a family Christmas, plenty of room for sixteen of us and pets. The noise level was pretty high at times, but we were told not to worry as no-one could hear us! The Christmas tree was a bonus and the house very warm.
More subdued lighting in one of the lounges, could be be an asset, we used a bedside table lamp to make it more cosy! The other lounge was fine. An extra potato peeler and small sharp knives for veg could have been useful, but am being a bit picky here, as kitchen well equipped!
"Lane down to house and near front door was very muddy, but due to weather, couldn't be helped, and somewhere to put brollies would be useful. Not enough room for all shoes and wellies at back door and as this led to the downstairs bedroom, not really suitable. However, on the whole, super!"
