Glorious walks can be taken through and around the farm. There are public footpaths for walking and cycling and taking in the exhilarating scenery. The owners rear Jacobs sheep - an interest for adults and children alike. Excellent road links making touring and sightseeing very easy. Bury St Edmunds with its cathedral, abbey gardens and lively market, Newmarket and Cambridge for the races, Colchester for its award winning zoo, Ipswich, Thetford Forest and Norwich all within 1 hours drive, as is the ever popular Suffolk Heritage coast. The whole family will enjoy a day out at the RSPB reserve at Minsmere. There are numerous pretty villages to explore, such as Lavenham, famous as a wool town, Long Melford, Clare, Kersey and the Dedham Vale, made famous by John Constable's timeless painting 'The Haywain'. Try the country houses, antique shops, craft centres and museums, play a round of golf, or there's even horse riding. Shops 2 miles, pubs and restaurant 1 mile.
