Just over a mile from the beautiful remains of Kirkham Abbey on the banks of the River Derwent with walking from the door. Nestled between the Howardian Hills and the Yorkshire Wolds, places to visit include Castle Howard, Eden Camp and the Lavender Farm. Historic York is a 20 minute drive away, whilst the coast at Scarborough is about 45 minutes. A fantastic holiday retreat.
