This charming stone built cottage situated at the end of a small row, is perfectly located between the Cheviot Hills and the Northumberland coastline, in the peaceful village of Chatton. This delightful property offers tasteful, comfortable accommodation in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Close to the quiet market town of Wooler, known as 'The Gateway to the Cheviots' and a great centre for walking enthusiasts, the area was the inspiration for Postman Pat's Greendale. Discover the quaint villages nestled along the main heritage coastal route, taking in Bamburgh with its fine castle and beautiful sandy beaches, Seahouses with its colourful harbour, Alnwick with its beautiful gardens and magnificent castle used in Robin Hood and Harry Potter films. Berwick upon Tweed, the border town of England and Scotland is easily accessible, as is the Northumberland National Park area of Otterburn and Kielder Forest. Edinburgh and Newcastle are an hour's drive away. The Percy Arms, a popular eating place for locals and visitors alike, is 400 yards and the shop/post office 500 yards.
