This superb barn providing privacy and comfort for large parties lies on the western side of Corney Fell, which is dominated by Black Combe, and allows easy access to the Cumbrian Coastal walk and beaches. Whichever direction you choose to travel the views are simply breathtaking. Muncaster Castle and the South Lakes Wild Animal Park at Dalton are both within half and hour's drive, whilst the lakes of Wastwater, Ennerdale and Coniston are effortlessly accessible. This really is a property with a difference, offering residential training courses on CSI based forensic science, horse care and grooming, trekking and guided walks (at extra cost); these can be booked at the small office manned between 10am to noon Mon-Fri, located on the lower ground floor of the barn. Alternatively, why not relax in the hot tub, read a book in front of the fabulous inglenook fireplace or take a stroll along the valley. Shop and restaurant 1½ miles, pub 1 mile.
