Built around 1870 and part of Little Butts Farm, the attached cottage has its own beautiful sloping garden and woods with stunning views across the East Sussex countryside, which can be enjoyed from the decked terrace or conservatory. The farm consists of 150 acres but is no longer a working farm - guests have access to the many footpaths and bridle ways including access to Bewl Water the largest lake in the Southeast, set within the beautiful tranquillity of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offering waterside walks, cycling (hire a bike), fly fishing for trout, watersports and cruises. Regular events take place during the summer months including dragon boat racing and 'taster days' for watersports. The spa town of Royal Tunbridge Wells is a short drive away with its interesting galleries and antique shops in the colonnaded pantiles. Vineyards abound, try the one at Lamberhurst and don't miss the plethora of castles and stately homes including Bodiam and Leeds castle. Shop 2 miles, pub ½ mile.
