This cosy 200 year old cottage with its inglenook and woodburner is situated in the small village of Llandyssil, just inside the Welsh border. The village is set in a beautiful valley, 3 miles from the ancient county town of Montgomery. This quiet and friendly village is a great country retreat, ideal for taking it easy. For the more energetic, there is hill, river and canal walking nearby; in fact there is a fine walk up to the Montgomery War Memorial, which stands on the hill above the village and enjoys excellent views. Newton and Welshpool are nearby and the coast, Aberystwyth/Borth is just over an hour away, as are Snowdonia and Ludlow. Shops 3 miles, pub serving food 100 yards._Ground floor: Living room.
