One of a terrace with views of the sea from the first floor this cosy holiday cottage is situated between Rye and Hastings. Close by is Cliff End where at low tide it is possible to see tree stumps which are the remains of a forest which has been dated back to the last Ice Age! At Pett Level the Royal Military Canal ends having started at Hythe, 28 miles away, originally built as a defence against possible invasion from Napoleon. The Pett area is ideal for bird watching. Visit Battle Abbey, Camber and Rye Castle Museum. Shop and pub ½ mile. _5 steps to entrance. Ground floor: Living/dining room. Kitchen. First floor: 1 single bedroom with sofa bed.
