This detached farmhouse is located in the central hub of Argyll making an ideal holiday location and a perfect touring base. The surrounding area offers a wealth of interest and fantastic scenery. Ben Cruachan, Ben Nevis and Glencoe are all within easy reach and are a mecca for hill walkers all year round. There are many recreational amenities available within the area - boat fishing for trout and salmon (permits available locally), golf, walking, horse riding, cycling and bird watching are all popular. It is also an excellent base for exploring the West Highlands and its many gardens, castles and distilleries. Trips to picturesque Inveraray, 6 miles, with a visit to the castle and Inverarary Jail are a must, with Fort William and historic Glencoe also recommended. To the south the Crinan Canal with its stepped lochs making for a lovely scenic walk. Within an hour drive is Oban `Gateway to the Isles', from where modern ferries go to Mull and Iona and to other Hebridean gems. Oban has a sea life centre, rare breeds park and an excellent golf course.
