This restored cottage is ideally situated just 50 yards from the beautiful sandy beach of Sandhead, which stretches for more than a mile. The sea is great for bathing and is an ideal location for water sports and fishermen looking to catch some local produce. Other local attractions include local golf courses and the RSPB Scotland Mull of Galloway nature reserve where thousands of seabirds nest in the cliff face during the spring and summer. The town of Stranraer offers a selection of shops and restaurants and is home to the Stena Line ferry which makes regular trips to Ireland for further sightseeing. Shop, pub and restaurant 10 yards.
