This cluster of comfortable bungalows is set in peaceful surroundings close to Sennen Cove and the spectacular coastal scenery around Land's End. Ideal for families, couples and groups alike. Sennen Holiday Bungalows are home to a range of excellent facilities, including an outdoor heated swimming pool (open May to mid Sept),and a tennis court. A mile away is Sennen's beautiful Blue Flag sandy beach and locally there is surfing, rock climbing, bird-watching and breathtaking coastal walks to enjoy. Land's End, Britain's most westerly point, attracts thousands of visitors each year, though it's often easy to escape the crowds, and guests will never be short of places to go or things to see here. However you wish to spend your time, on site or off, most tastes are catered for. On Sennen Cove beach you can arrange surf board hire for those who want to catch a wave, or bicycle hire at Penzance for those who want to leave their cars behind. Play a round of golf, at St Just, 5 miles. Horse riding locally. Or, visit the Minack open-air theatre at Porthcurno, just ten minutes' drive away. Possibilities for excursions either along the coast or further inland abound here. For days out, picturesque Mousehole and the Chysauster Ancient Village, which at 2,000 years old features the oldest known village street in England, and the art galleries at Newlyn and St Ives, all easily reached. See the Levant Steam Engine (NT) or wander amidst the Trengwainton Garden (NT), or admire the scattered remains of Neolithic tombs and the more recent ruined 19th-century mines. Penzance, terminus of the old Great Western Railway and a bustling shopping and holidaying centre, with a choice of pubs and restaurants, 9 miles, and St Michael's Mount (NT) is just across the bay. Further afield, The Lizard Heritage Coast, the Goonhilly Downs, the Poldark Mine and Falmouth are all well worth visiting. With glorious sunsets, and some of Cornwall's best beaches close by, whichever property you choose from the detached, 2 semi-detached and 3 terraced bungalows, it will make a wonderful holiday base.
