 Badhams
Assington Green, Stansfield, Suffolk.,United Kingdom
Blissfully nestled in a sleepy corner next to a wood, this romantic retreat offers a very high standard of accommodation. Charming and quaint, the cottage stands as the end one of a row in a quiet lane on the edge of this attractive hamlet, and oozes character with beams, brick fireplace and an antique brass bed. Recently renovated, there is a new kitchen built in the conservatory and overlooking the garden where young deer can be seen nibbling the plants. An excellent area for walking and cycling, there are also many picturesque villages to visit locally, including the medieval wool town of Lavenham, Long Melford, Clare, Kersey and Cavendish to name but a few. Newmarket, for the races and stud farms, is only 20 minutes away. Pub ½mile.
Beamed living/dining-room with electric `wood burner' in brick fireplace. Modern kitchen/conservatory with laminate floor. Bathroom/W.C. with over-bath shower. First floor: Two beamed double bedrooms.
