St Audry's House is a magnificent classical 7000 sq ft Mansion House approached via a sweeping drive through a private golf course. Halfway up the grand staircase there is a charming window seat, the perfect spot for reading or relaxing as the sun pours in. On the first floor there is a super master bedroom suite with en-suite bathroom, dressing room, sofa and views to the golf course. There are a further eight bedrooms which have been tastefully decorated and are comfortably furnished; all have either en-suite facilities or a close by bath or shower room. Golf players with a handicap can play on the St Audry's golf course with prior arrangement with the club. Additional `pay and play' golf, spa and leisure facilities are very close by including swimming-pool and gym (owner has arranged 10% discount on the entry fee). Woodbridge is a market town of considerable character on the west bank of the River Deben. The picturesque streets are lined with historic and interesting buildings. Many individual shops, boutiques and art galleries all draw in visitors along with the independent cinema, restaurants and traditional public houses. There are notable places of interest nearby: Sutton Hoo, the Anglo Saxon burial ground; Snape Maltings, the famous concert hall and complex associated with the composer Benjamin Britten; Thorpeness Mere and the RSPB reserve at Minsmere. Other coastal towns such as Southwold, Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Walberswick and Felixstowe will make interesting excursions, all with lovely beaches.
