Built in 1840 on a design by famed Buckingham Palace architect Edward Blore, the Clock Tower entrance (with working clocks similar to that of the Palace) is thought to be the only other example of its kind. With four-poster beds and marble-top dining tables, the properties are tastefully furnished and equipped to a high standard. The properties enjoy superb leisure facilities, including a 30-foot indoor heated swimming-pool, fed by natural spring water, with full changing facilities, shower and W.C., an indoor games room with table tennis, pool table and darts and a children's play area.
