Falmouth, 5 miles, having one of the deepest natural harbours in the world means there are plenty of opportunities for sailing, water-sports and boating enthusiasts. There are lots of activities on offer, shops, an indoor leisure centre, public tennis courts, golf courses (18-hole), museums and Pendennis Castle. Falmouth is also 'an outdoor lover's paradise', discover the wonderful natural beauty along the shoreline and through woodland whilst walking, hiking, birdwatching or mountain biking. Several small villages surround this property famous for their horticultural gardens, Trellisick, Glendurgan, Trebah, and Penjemick are in the immediate area, where you can marvel at the hanging gardens, bursting with colour and see the exotic trees and shrubs growing in sub-tropic climates. The picture postcard, creek side village of Helford, with its thatched roofs, white-washed buildings and pretty gardens has shops, a post office, a restaurant and a pub.
