This unusual Grade II listed attractive 17th century cottage was formerly the lock-up for the village of Coleford, a picturesque place full of old miners' cottages. Situated at the end of a row, its turret gives the interior curved walls and alcoves, and add to its wealth of character and original features. The village is situated on the eastern edge of the Mendip Hills, close to Frome, Shepton Mallet, Wells, Bath, Longleat and Radstock.
