Other attractions within easy reach include a nostalgic ride on the West Somerset Steam Railway, the magnificent caves and gorge at Cheddar, as well as Hestercombe House and Gardens. For wildlife enthusiasts there is Dunster Castle, mill and deer park, and further National Trust properties of interest are Montacute House and Barrington Court.
