Situated in its own grounds, in the beautiful countryside location between the 12th-century riverside market town of Terrasson and the village of Hautefort, with its magnificent chateau, Bois Lavergne is an ideal place from which to enjoy all the attractions of the Périgord Noir and Périgord Blanc. This is an area of gently flowing rivers, bordered by sun soaked, half-timbered buildings and golden stone cottages, walnut groves, fields of maize, sunflowers, pre-historic caves and wonderful restaurants to suit every taste and pocket. There are opportunities locally for canoeing, horse riding and tennis. Nearby Terrasson is situated in the midst of some of the most famous tourist sites in France, with a rich and varied heritage. This is a perfect choice for a relaxing holiday, but with plenty of opportunities for sightseeing and entertainment.
