The restoration retains many original features, massive beams, exposed stone walls and oak floors which combine to create the ambiance of yesteryear but provide comfortable accommodation. It is a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Swim or sunbathe at the river beach or hire a canoe to explore further afield.
