This pretty timber-framed house is set in spacious gardens on a working farm, yet is just two minutes from Bernay, with its shops, market, cafés and restaurants. The accommodation is all at ground floor level, and has been restored to create a charming, simply furnished interior complete with its original fireplace. The terrace and gardens, providing plenty of room to relax outside, and the English-speaking farmer lives close by. Trout fishing, a riding centre and good golf nearby (9-holes), with tennis courts and two swimming pools in Bernay. For day trips, Paris is only an hour by train, while the wonderful abbey of Bec Hellouin, the art galleries of Honfleur are within easy driving distance.
