Take a trip southbound to the wine capital of Béziers, already a thriving city when the Romans arrived in 35BC, and to endless miles of golden sandy beaches and lovely resorts. A true bonus is only 2.5km away, where the spa town of Lamalou-les-Bains awaits - very touristy, it boasts an impressive casino, offers many excursions and a multitude of sporting activities including a golf course.
