The 15th century `Domaine de Forges' is an attractive estate set in 5 hectares of beautiful grounds and woodlands, well off the beaten track and next to the lake of La Provostière, where boat and canoe hire is available. Forming part of a small complex of holiday homes, this beautiful stone farmhouse building has three attractive holiday homes each with their own private terrace and garden for barbecues. The first detached stone cottage offers total privacy at the back for dining out on the private terrace. The second semi-detached cottage is the largest with wonderful views overlooking the lake. All five properties are comfortable, beautifully restored, modernised and furnished to pleasant standing. They enjoy shared use of a generous sized undercover heated swimming pool with sun loungers on site. There are other facilities such as badminton, table tennis, football pitch and an area to play petanque/boules. A farmhouse restaurant is conveniently situated next to the property where you can enjoy a relaxing meal. Should you manage to tear yourself away from all that this property has to offer only one hour away lies the bustling château town of Angers in the Loire valley with its châteaux and vineyards. For those wishing to explore the region you will discover the historic city of Nantes with its medieval château, museums and the night life and further afield the seaside resort of La Baule with its long sandy beach and elegant villas.
