This renovated stone built barn has been converted to provide comfortable holiday accommodation. The property is in an elevated, yet private situation with extensive views over the orchards and vineyards. There is a covered patio and barbecue area by the pool, where outdoor living and eating can be enjoyed to the full. Inside the house, features such as the exposed beams have been retained to preserve the original simple and rustic character of the building. It is a short drive to the medieval village of Duras which is dominated by its castle (visit the museum). Here there are restaurants and shops and in the summer many musical events ranging from classical to rock in the château or in the streets or town square. The nearby leisure lake at St. Sernin has a sandy beach, water slides, pedaloes and wind surfers, as well as bars and cafés and extensive picnic areas.
