This semi-detached two-storey stone-built cottage is set in wooded country, down a leafy lane at the edge of a village, with well-kept secluded gardens behind. The interior is cosy, with traditional furnishings and a special feature is a display of plates on the walls. The south coast of Brittany is reached within a half hour's drive, and here one is well placed to travel to the beautiful resorts near Quimper to the west, and Carnac to the east. Nearer home there is a river and fishing, and footpaths through the woods. Crêpes are speciality here, and best washed down with the locally made excellent cider, while the local restaurants naturally serve a range of enticing fresh seafood.
