From here, the pretty village of Elven is a short drive, with restaurants, cafes and bars, as is the town of Questembert with a beautiful, half-timbered marketplace. The Gulf of Morbihan is just a 20 minute drive, where the pretty main islands offer absolute tranquillity with no traffic. There are many sandy beaches to explore, including Damgan, while the medieval city of Vannes is a great day out.
