The grounds are shared with the resident British owners but has its own separate patio area. In the surrounding area there are picturesque towns like Domfront, with its château and medieval streets, Le Mont St. Michel and the spa town of Bagnoles-de-l'Orne, where you can try your hand in the casino. Beaches and the resort of Granville, from where a ferry sails to Jersey, are within driving distance. The Norman cuisine can be sampled at nearby restaurants and fresh produce is best purchased at the local markets.
