This self contained converted barn is part of a traditionally built farmhouse which is the home of the British owners, situated on the edge of a small village in a quiet secluded area of Gascony. A covered balcony leads off the first floor lounge overlooking the garden and pool with distant views of the Pyrénées. The ornamental garden pond contains goldfish and is visited by herons, kingfishers and other birds. Trie-Sur-Baise offers restaurants and shops around the main square where a market is held every Tuesday. Golf, fishing, horse riding, tennis, canoeing, cycling, bird watching and walking can all be enjoyed. Spain and the Pyrénées are an easy drive.
