It adjoins the owners' house, and enjoys its own garden and pretty terrace. (The canal is unfenced in the grounds). Situated between the towns of La Rochelle and Luçon. The beaches of La Faute-sur-Mer are easily accessible, as is l'Ile de Ré, whilst further afield are the Marais Poitevin (Green Venice) and many historical sites.
