St. Gilles-Croix-de-Vie is nearby, with water sports and boat trips to the beautiful island of Yeu. Day trips can be enjoyed to the perfumed gardens at Coëx, the château and lake at picturesque Apremont, or the history theme part of Le Puy du Fou.
