Visit the centre of prehistory in Saint Hilaire de la Foret, or Le Parc des Floralies in La Tranche-sur-Mer. La Rochelle, the canals of Green Venice, the history theme park of Le Puy du Fou, Noirmoutier Island or l'Ile d'Yeu all make excellent days out.
