This attractive pair of stone cottages is situated in a quiet rural hamlet, just outside the charming town of Aizenay, and just 20 minutes from the beautiful beaches and resort of St. Gilles-Croix-de-Vie. Sharing a superb outdoor heated swimming pool and a 6 person jacuzzi, they make an ideal family holiday venue. Formerly a barn and hayloft, the building has been renovated, with great attention to detail, and features exposed beams and stonework. Both cottages are comfortably furnished, attractively decorated and well equipped, whilst the under-floor heating and log fires make them a cosy retreat for out of season breaks. Each has its own sunny terrace and garden, and the swimming pool (heated from 3 May to 11 October) is set in a further large fenced lawned area. As well as magnificent beaches, the surrounding area offers plenty of holiday activities. Day trips can be enjoyed to the beautiful Ile d'Yeu, where bikes can be hired to explore the forests, sandy beaches and moorland, or to the island of Noirmoutier. Nearby is the bustling resort of Les Sables d'Olonne, famous for its spa baths and offering visits to the salt marshes to see salt production. There is a golf course nearby, and good facilities at the coast, including surfing, wind surfing and sailing.
