Eastcott Vineyard offers three well-appointed properties (Refs HFFU, HFFV, HFFW), located in a delightful rural area of West Devon. The cottages are situated on a small holding on which the owners are in the process of establishing a vineyard. The first vines will be planted in Spring 2008, with wine production starting in the Autumn. The comfortable accommodation has been renovated to a high standard, suitable for year-round holidays. Set on the edge of the village of Northlew, it makes an ideal base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and local attractions. Dartmoor and the dramatic coastlines of North Cornwall and Devon are all within easy driving distance. The town of Okehampton, known as the `Gateway to Dartmoor' lies close by with its range of shops, including a Waitrose supermarket, Okehampton Castle and steam railway. Several golf courses and access to the famous Tarka Trail cycle path are available locally. Numerous National Trust properties are slightly further afield, as well as RHS Gardens at Rosemoor.
