The larger market town of South Molton is approximately 8 miles away and a visit on market day is recommended. The cottages are situated ideally for access to both Dartmoor and Exmoor. The North Devon coastline can be easily reached with walking along the South West Coast Path or relaxing on some of the great beaches at Woolacombe or Saunton. There are NT properties at Arlington Court and Castle Drogo, the R.H.S gardens at Rosemoor, and the Tarka Trail for cyclists or walkers. There are golf courses at High Bullen and High Bickington.
