Woodpecker Lodge is a pretty, single-storey, stone-built, holiday cottage situated in the middle of the hamlet of Rawridge in the Otter Valley. It stands detached, not far from the market town of Honiton with its antique shops, twice-weekly market, sports centre and pool. Seaton and Sidmouth are 30 minutes away, whilst Lyme Regis and Exmouth offer sandy beaches. Exeter has a fine cathedral and excellent shopping centre. The Otter Valley is a superb location for walkers, with plenty of public footpaths. Picturesque Upottery with its church, cricket ground and pub is 1 mile.
