Only a few minutes' drive to the nearest beach, it is also perfect for trips to the coast and the beautiful villages of Beer and Branscombe, or perhaps fossil hunting at nearby Lyme Regis and Charmouth. For those who like shopping, Exeter and Taunton are a 40 minutes drive away, with Honiton (famous for its antiques and lace making) and Sidmouth only 20 minutes.
