Close to the shores of Lake Windermere, this very attractive and spacious cottage has its own terrace with furniture and has been decorated, furnished and equipped to a good standard. One of a pair, it is half a mile from the centre of Bowness, where some of Lakeland's finest shops and restaurants can be found. Golf, tennis, pony-trekking and excellent walking are available locally, as well as a wide range of water sports. Steamboats ply from Waterhead down to the lakeside terminus of the steam-hauled Lakeside and Haverthwaite Railway, and ferries cross to the western shore from which visitors may reach the cottage of Beatrix Potter. Kendal 9 miles.
