Enjoying a splendid position in the delightful village of Threlkeld at the foot of the Blencathra Fells, this traditional stone-built cottage is cosy and tastefully furnished, and has its own small paved sitting-out area. The end of a little row, it is close to wonderful walks in all directions. Derwent Water, with its wooded shores and boat hire, is 10minutes' drive, as is Keswick, popular with climbers and walkers, and offering sports facilities, swimming and golf. Bassenthwaite Lake and Ullswater, with their spectacular scenery and Penrith are all within 20minutes' drive. Golf ½mile. Threlkeld Sheepdog Trials held in August. Pubs/restaurants in village (within 100 yards).
