Situated in the heart of Bamburgh with its magnificent castle, The Hollies makes an excellent base from which to tour the Northumberland Heritage Coastline. The Hollies is a spacious stone built house dating back to the 19th-century, it retains many of its period features and has been decorated and furnished to a high standard throughout. To the rear is Mistletoe Cottage (sleeps 2, Ref MNL), a beautifully presented, detached holiday cottage enjoying use of a courtyard. A few minutes' walk leads to wide sandy beaches with rolling sand dunes. Visit Seahouses for boat trips to the Farne Islands or Beadnell for a variety of water sports. A short car journey leads to Alnwick, with its wonderful castle and ornamental water gardens. Pub 50 yards.
