This wonderful `chocolate-box' thatched cottage dates back to 1660 and is quietly situated, just a short stroll from the 12th-century church of St Lawrence. Adjoining the owners' property and traditionally decorated throughout, it is styled with beams and traditional features, which creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A few miles away is Bowood House with 2000 acres of gardens. The National Trust has many places of interest nearby including Avebury Stone Circles, and Lacock Abbey (used in the Harry Potter films). The cities of Bath and Salisbury are both an hour's drive, as are the beautiful Cotswolds. Pub 300 yards.
