Overlooking the White Cliffs, these two enchanting fishermen's cottages are set on a private shingle road in a conservation area on Kingsdown Beach, close to the seaside town of Deal. Both cottages feature floor-to-ceiling bay windows looking out over a grassy meadow leading down to the sea. Both have panoramic views across the Channel to France. The beach, just 80 yards away, is shingle with sand and rock pools at low tide. Sea angling, sailing, kite flying and championship golf courses are on the doorstep. The castles of Dover, Deal and Walmer, Canterbury's cathedral, Whitstable's oysters, Broadstairs' beach donkeys, and Sandwich's riverboat are within easy reach. Day trips from Dover to France are just 10 minutes away. Breathtaking cliff-top walks to the Bluebird tea-room above St Margaret's Bay. Scenic 3-mile cycle track along seashore to Deal. Pub on beach.
