Fordingbridge itself is a small market town with its famous medieval stone bridge and fine arches. There are plenty of shops, pubs and cafes to indulge in as well as enjoying the riverside location. Advantage can be taken of the beautiful scenery and long walks along the Avon Valley Path, Basingstoke Canal Towpath and Clarendon Way. The coastline with its Blue Flag beaches at Bournemouth and Poole are within easy driving distance, as is the city of Salisbury with its medieval cathedral. Close by, the bustling town of Ringwood offers numerous attractions; Bournemouth, with its golden beach is within easy reach and has many popular activities such as windsurfing, boating, swimming and golf.
