These two delightful lodges are set within the owners' grounds, just off the main road, in a peaceful, rural setting at the edge of woodland, close to the South Downs and just 15 miles from Brighton. Beautifully converted from former stables, they have been refurbished and equipped to a high standard, providing cosy and comfortable, single-storey accommodation. They share a secure courtyard with a sitting-out area, and there is on-site fishing (by prior arrangement with owner). The surrounding countryside simply abounds with excellent walking and cycling terrain. Interesting outings include a trip to Drusilla's Park - known by many as `the best small zoo in the country'; the Seven Sisters Country Park with its Living World exhibition (including live beast handling); and the Sealife Centre in Brighton (which is also home to the Royal Pavilion and has a sand and shingle beach). Lewes Castle and Glynde 5 miles. Golf 8 miles. Pub 1 mile.
Level access to spacious beamed living/dining-room. Farmhouse-style kitchen area. Double bedroom. Twin-bedded room. Bathroom/W.C. with over-bath shower. Most rooms with rugs on polished wooden floor.
