Chichester with its beautiful cathedral, festival theatre, pedestrianised shopping and Roman villa is well worth a visit. As well as the local beaches, other popular beaches can be found at The Witterings or Hayling Island. A visit to Portsmouth with waterside dining, designer outlets, Spinnaker Tower, HMS Victory and ferry trips to the beautiful Isle of Wight makes for an interesting day trip. Alternatively the historic town of Arundel with its 19th-century cathedral and famous castle can easily be reached. Bustling Brighton and The New Forest are each within easy driving distance.
