Accessed via a farm track which passes through another farm en-route, it is certainly a rural retreat, yet within 5 miles are wonderful award-winning sandy beaches, Black Combe hill with spectacular views from its 1,800 ft summit and the delightful Lakeland village of Broughton-in-Furness which has individual village shops providing organic and local produce as well as pubs and tea rooms. Just 1 mile away is Brockwood Hall set in picturesque grounds which offers facilities such as a swimming pool, restaurant and bar to non-residents. All the lakes and fells of the South Western Lake District are on the doorstep including Coniston Water, Windermere and Wast Water. This is a tranquil AONB with many hidden gems waiting to be discovered.
