Ideally placed for exploring, it lies on the edge of the Forest of Dean and only 10 minutes from Symonds Yat, while the towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth lie a mere 6 miles distant. Historic Hereford with its cathedral repository of the famous Mappa Mundi and Chained Library is well within easy reach, whilst Cheltenham is an easy drive. This lovely and unique area offers something for everyone from outdoor activities, such as canoeing, walking, climbing and golf to museum and cave visiting, rides on the Forest Railway and adventure playgrounds. The local area has many excellent pubs and restaurants with a range of cuisine from the exotic to the more traditional fayre. Two pubs within ½ mile.
