Internally, its compact and characterful interior displays beams, exposed stone work and some pieces of antique furniture, together with a warming wood-burning stove. Shropshire hill country is an untamed natural habitat for buzzards, kites, badgers and other rare birds. Of local interest are The Stiperstones, a national monument. Fishing, hang gliding, rifle range and horse riding within 2 miles.
