This detached cottage on the shore of Loch Etive is a peaceful and picturesque place to spend a relaxing holiday amidst a working farm. The owner's woodland gardens of Achnacloich can be explored - stretching over 35 acres, they include a variety of beautiful rhododendrons, azaleas and many other rare and unusual plants. Oban, just 9 miles, is an attractive Victorian fishing port with a superb setting and a large number of activities for all the family to enjoy. Known as the Gateway to the Isles, Oban offers many boat trips providing a variety of excursions, near and far. Full details of these and the wide range of other activities available (sailing, diving, riding, golf, climbing, hill-walking, distillery visits, whale and dolphin watching, castles, Oban Rare Breeds Farm and Oban Sea Life Centre) can be obtained from the Oban Tourist Information Centre. Brochures will also be available in the cottage itself.
