Gated steps lead down to the canal, and the cottage and garden enjoy splendid views. Enjoy walking or cycling along the 9 mile towpath. In Lochgilphead (3 miles), visitors will find a good variety of shops, restaurants and amenities. There are forest and coastal walks nearby, together with fishing and sailing. The Cairnbaan Hotel is across the canal bridge and provides good food.
